Like many things in Medicine, the term, anorexia, can refer to more than one concept. Most generally, anorexia means to have no appetite. So that a common symptom of some acute viral infections, like the flu, is anorexia. In a very different sense, anorexia itself can be a medical condition, ordinarily classified as a psychiatric condition.
